About This Trial
Familial Mediterranean Fever (FMF) is a chronic hereditary autoinflammatory disease caused by mutations in the MEditerranean FeVer (MEFV) gene which codes for pyrin. Dysfunction of this protein determines an inappropriate response to inflammatory stimuli.
