This trial is looking for African-American patients aged 18 to 70 who are in the hospital and have advanced kidney disease. Participants will experience a computerized education program aiming to improve their understanding of kidney care.

- I am African-American
- I am between 18 and 70 years old
- I have an estimated glomerular filtration rate below 45
- I am enrolled in the Hospitalist Project
You may not be able to join if
- I do not identify as African-American
- I am not able to give my consent
- I cannot speak English
- My eGFR is below 45 due to acute kidney injury
- I am in the Intensive Care Unit
- I have had a kidney transplant
- I am currently on dialysis

* African-American inpatients
* Ages 18-70
* estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)\<45
* Enrolled in the Hospitalist Project
Exclusion Criteria:
* Does not self-identify as African American
