Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* \>18 years old
* idiopathic full thickness macular hole \> 400 micron of diameter
* phakic or pseudophakic
* absence of systemic adverse conditions
Exclusion Criteria:
* idiopathic full thickness macular hole \> 1,500 micron of diameter
