Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for individuals with ovarian cancer that has returned after treatment or has not responded to previous therapies. Participants will receive T cells made from their own blood, which may help their body fight the cancer.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have been diagnosed with ovarian or fallopian tube cancer.
  • I have measurable disease with at least one tumor that is 1 cm or larger.
  • I have had prior treatment with platinum chemotherapy.
  • I have consented to provide blood samples and tissue for research.
  • I am willing to return for follow-up visits.
  • I have a life expectancy of more than 6 months but less than 24 months.
  • I have a good level of physical functioning (ECOG PS 0 or 1).

You may not be able to join if

  • I have untreated brain metastases.
  • I have had a heart attack in the past 6 months.
  • I am pregnant or nursing.
  • I am not able to control an ongoing infection.
  • I have a history of severe heart problems.
  • I have not recovered from the side effects of previous treatments.
  • I have a psychiatric condition that is not under control.
  • I am unwilling to use birth control if I can become pregnant.

About This Trial
This phase I trial tests the safety, side effects, best dose of MUC1-activated T cells in treating patients with ovarian cancer that has come back after a period of improvement (relapsed) or that remains despite treatment (resistant).
