This trial is looking for adults with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) to study how amino acids in feces may relate to their symptoms. Participants will provide samples of their feces and intestinal tissues for analysis.

  • I have been diagnosed with IBS based on the Rome IV criteria.
  • I am at least 18 years old.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a history of celiac disease or other serious intestinal diseases.
  • I have serious neurological or psychiatric conditions.
  • I have had abdominal surgery.
  • I am pregnant, possibly pregnant, or breastfeeding.
  • I have had a colonoscopy in the past year.
  • I have chosen not to participate in the study.
