Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Patients with pipkin 1 fractures
Exclusion Criteria:
* any associated pelvic fractures
* severe medical conditions that prevent the patient from undergoing surgery
* delayed presentation after 2 weeks from initial fracture date
