Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for people with Parkinson's disease who have received a type of brain stimulation called STN DBS. Participants will need to have imaging done before and after their surgery and be at least 3 months post-operation.

  • I have an STN DBS device
  • I have had pre- and post-operative imaging
  • I am at least 3 months post-operative

You may not be able to join if

  • I am unable to complete the cognitive task due to language barriers or dementia
  • I have significant complications from the DBS

About This Trial
Cognitive impairment is common in Parkinson's disease. A recent study demonstrated 40% of people with PD suffer from mild cognitive impairment and \> 80% of patients develop dementia after a disease duration of 20 years. Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria: * Those with STN DBS devices * Those with pre- and post-operative imaging * Those that are at least 3 months post-operative Exclusion Criteria: * Those unable to complete the cognitive task (due to language barriers or dementia) * Those with significant DBS complications
