This trial is looking for patients with undescended testicles to compare two surgical methods. Participants will have either transection or ligation of the internal spermatic vessels during surgery to help the testicles descend properly.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with unilateral or bilateral impalpable testis
You may not be able to join if
- I have had previous laparotomy surgery
- I have had a ventriculo-peritoneal shunt
- I have had previous laparoscopy for impalpable testis
- I have had previous inguinal or scrotal surgery
- I have a disorder of sexual differentiation
- I have abnormal karyotyping
- I have an intra-operative inguinal testis
- I have conditions like peeping testis or streak testis
