This trial is looking for women who have high-risk breast cancer after chemotherapy. Participants will receive radiation therapy aimed at specific lymph nodes to see if it helps improve their chances of staying cancer-free.

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
  • I have completed neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
  • I am willing to follow up with the study.
  • I have experienced lymph node involvement after chemotherapy or had specific lymph node metastasis before treatment.
  • I am in good enough health with a performance status of 0-2.
  • I have no distant metastases.
  • I have no internal mammary node metastases based on previous imaging.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have not undergone neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
  • I have distant metastases.
  • I have simultaneous bilateral breast cancer.
  • I have had lymph node metastasis in the internal mammary before treatment.
  • I have a history of certain other cancers, unless they are non-malignant or specific types.

The aim of this study is to explore the impact of internal mammary nodal irradiation on disease-free survival in high-risk breast cancer patients (ypN+or supra/subclavicular lymph node positive) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
