Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Participants will help doctors understand how to choose the best treatments for their arthritis.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years old or younger.
- I have active arthritis or have been diagnosed with arthritis in the last 6 months.
- I have not started any treatment besides NSAIDs.
- I have a confirmed diagnosis of juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
- I am experiencing active arthritis.
- I have inactive disease and need to stop or reduce my biologic treatment.
- I have severe disease that is hard to control with treatment.
You may not be able to join if
- My arthritis is caused by another diagnosis.
- I have had joint injections within the last 4 weeks.
- I have arthritis that is explained by another cause.
- I am starting biologic treatment only for uveitis.
- I have an ongoing tapering scheme for biologics that will take more than 12 months.

About This Trial
Childhood arthritis is a chronic disabling disease. New medications called biologic therapies are now available to treat arthritis that target key biologic molecules that cause inflammation. Biologic therapies, while very effective in treating arthritis in children, may have serious side effects including infections and potentially cancers, and are very expensive and doctors don't know, which one …

Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
Cohort 1: - Biologic Basis of JIA
* ≤18 years\*
* Active objective arthritis suspected to be JIA or diagnosed with JIA within 6 months of enrolment
* Treatment naïve except for NSAIDs, allowed to have received NSAIDS within 6 months of diagnosis
