This trial is looking for young adults aged 18 to 25 who want to improve their well-being and manage stress. Participants will engage in a three-week program with guided sessions and follow-up assessments over a year.

You may be able to join if

  • I am aged between 18 and 25 years old.
  • I can stand for 30 minutes.
  • I score above 18 on the Perceived Stress Scale.
  • I can read, speak, and understand English.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have practiced qigong in the past 5 years.
  • I regularly take medications that affect my immune system or nervous system.
  • I have used illicit drugs in the past 3 months.
  • I have a physical impairment that prevents me from standing for 30 minutes.
  • I have severe mental health conditions that might interfere with regular practice.

About This Trial
This project investigates the impact of Daoist Zhanzhuang (sometimes spelled as Chan Chuang) on human flourishing, and explores the physiological, psychological, and spiritual mechanisms.
