This trial is looking for patients with serious aortic valve problems. Participants will compare a new heart valve system to traditional heart surgery to see how well they work.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I need surgery for significant aortic regurgitation.
  • I am a candidate for both the Trilogy heart valve and traditional valve surgery.
  • I agree to return for all follow-up visits.
  • I am at least the legal age to give consent.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a life expectancy of less than 24 months due to other health problems.
  • I have moderate or less aortic regurgitation.
  • I refuse to have surgery.
  • I cannot have a blood transfusion.
  • I have active infections or sepsis.
  • I have major heart function issues.
  • I have severe kidney disease.
  • I am pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
