Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for children aged 6-11 years who were born prematurely or at term and their parents. Participants will help assess how birth timing affects children's mental health and development through questionnaires and interviews.

You may be able to join if

  • I am a parent of a child aged 6-11 years who was part of a previous study
  • I was pregnant from at least 24 weeks
  • I am 18 years of age or older

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a psychiatric illness, especially a serious mental illness
  • I abuse drugs
  • I have severe neurological disorders
  • I have experienced stillbirth

About This Trial
The purpose of the present study is the assessment of the mental health and cognitive development of children 6-11 years after premature or term birth. Impairments in children's' mental health are assessed focusing different disorders or problems (ADHD, Autism traits, Affective disorders, oppositional-aggressive behavior) and using both questionnaires and a clinical interview.
