Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* High loneliness (UCLA Loneliness Scale \> 43).
* Diagnosis of major depressive disorder confirmed by the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 Disorders.
* absence of suicidal ideation (Hamilton Depression Scale item 3 score ≤ 1).
