Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults who have developed immune-related side effects after cancer treatment. Participants will receive brodalumab to help manage these side effects.

Rules you out Severe cardiovascular diseaseActive Crohn's disease

You may be able to join if

  • I am over 18 years old.
  • I can provide consent.
  • I have an immune-related side effect thought to be IL-17 mediated.
  • I have already received systemic steroids for my side effect.
  • I have a confirmed advanced or metastatic solid tumor treated with immunotherapy.
  • I have tested negative for tuberculosis within the last 30 days.
  • I have not been treated with brodalumab before.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have creatinine clearance less than 40 mg/min.
  • I have active thoughts of suicide or severe depression.
  • I have a history of suicide attempts.
  • I have current substance abuse issues.
  • I am pregnant, breastfeeding, or not using reliable birth control.
  • I have a severe infection that needs IV therapy.
  • I have active hepatitis B, C, or tuberculosis.
  • I have a history of untreated latent tuberculosis.

About This Trial
The purpose of this study is to test the safety and effectiveness of using brodalumab in patients who develop side effects from cancer immune therapy. Immune-related side effects are due to activation of the immune system in patients who previously received immunotherapy and the goal of this study is to help better control these side effects.
