This trial is looking for women over 18 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Participants will receive either dapagliflozin or a placebo for 9 months to see how it affects heart health during chemotherapy.
You may be able to join if
- I am a female
- I am over 18 years old
- I have breast cancer
- I am receiving chemotherapy with a specific doxorubicin dose
You may not be able to join if
- I have a pacemaker or defibrillator
- I cannot have a CMR exam due to medical devices
- I am claustrophobic and can't undergo CMR
- I have kidney failure with low filtration rate
- I have had a heart attack or heart surgery before
- I have significant heart valve disease
- I have a history of heart muscle diseases
