This trial is looking for Black and African American individuals to help understand Parkinson's disease. Participants will share their experiences and may provide saliva samples for research.

You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years or older
- I identify as Black or African American
- I can provide informed consent
- I meet the criteria for Parkinson's disease (if applicable)
- I am 50 years or older (if in control group)
You may not be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease or any neurological condition
- I have a family history of Parkinson's disease or similar conditions
- I have an unknown family history of Parkinson's disease or similar conditions
- Any conditions that prevent me from participating
- I have eaten or drunk anything in the last 30 minutes before giving a saliva sample
