This trial is looking for Bangladeshi mothers and their young children to participate in a year-long program focused on child health and oral health education. Participants will also work on building social networks among mothers.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I speak and read/write Bengali or Hindi/Urdu.
- I was born in a South Asian country.
- I am the primary caretaker of my child.
- My child is between 12 and 48 months old.
- My child has Medicaid or CHIP.
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot provide informed consent.
- I plan to travel for more than 1 month during the study period.
- I have a health condition that affects my ability to provide care.
- My child weighed less than 5 lbs at birth.
- My child has a health condition that excludes them from the study.
- My child is taking long-term antibiotics.
- My child is not the youngest eligible child in my family.
