This trial is looking for people who have liver or bile duct cancer. Participants will provide tissue samples for research on genetic factors related to cholestatic liver diseases and cancer.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with liver or bile duct cancer.
- I have undergone surgery or a liver transplant for treatment.
- I have cholestatic liver disease with specific test results.
- I have experienced itching and high bile acid levels for over 6 months.
- I am willing to sign a consent form.
You may not be able to join if
- I have another known cause of chronic liver disease.
- I have primary biliary cholangitis.
- I have primary sclerosing cholangitis.
- I have IgG4-related cholangiopathy.
- I have obstructive jaundice.
- I have tested positive for hepatitis B, C, or E.
- I have a history of alcohol abuse.
- I have hemochromatosis.
