Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with hemophilia A or B who have issues with their ankle due to their condition. Participants will go through a therapy program involving manual techniques to help with pain and mobility.

Must be taking Coagulation factor VIIICoagulation factor FIX

You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with hemophilia A or B
  • I have severe hemophilia (less than 1% FVIII/FIX)
  • I am over 18 years old
  • I have a medical diagnosis of ankle arthropathy
  • I am on treatment with factor VIII or FIX concentrates

You may not be able to join if

  • I have neurological or cognitive disorders that affect my understanding
  • I did not sign the informed consent document

Introduction: Haemophilic ankle arthropathy manifests as functional (deficit in muscle strength, mobility and proprioception), intra-articular degenerative alterations and chronic pain.
