This trial is looking for people with arthritis in their thumb who are having surgery. Participants will be evaluated to see if formal therapy helps their recovery.
You may be able to join if
- I am over 18 years old
- I am having CMC arthroplasty surgery
- I can read and write in English
- I can give informed consent
You may not be able to join if
- I am having a revision CMC arthroplasty
- I have an acute traumatic dislocation of the CMC joint as my reason for surgery
- I am receiving treatment for MCP hyperextension
