Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for volunteers aged 18 to 65 to test a cooling treatment aimed at reducing pain during arterial punctures. Participants will have their skin cooled near the puncture site and will be asked about their pain levels.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am between 18 and 65 years old.
  • I am ASA I-II level.
  • I will have arterial blood pressure monitoring during surgery.
  • I am right-handed.
  • I passed the Allen test.
  • I can understand and sign the consent form.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a history of musculoskeletal, vascular, neurological or psychiatric disorders.
  • I have a history of diabetes or other systemic diseases.
  • I have used any pain relief medication in the past month.
  • I have a history of smoking, alcohol, or drug addiction.
  • I have skin issues in the treatment area.
  • The surgical area overlaps with the cooling treatment or puncture area.
  • I am menstruating.
