This trial is looking for people aged 50 to 100 who have knee pain from osteoarthritis. Participants will receive low-dose radiotherapy to see if it helps reduce pain compared to a fake treatment.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 50 and 100 years old.
- I have constant or intermittent pain in my knee.
- I have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis.
- I can complete electronic surveys.
You may not be able to join if
- I am pregnant or can become pregnant without being sterilized.
- I have had recent knee trauma that causes my pain.
- I have inflammatory arthritis.
- I have symptomatic hip osteoarthritis.
- I have uncontrolled psychiatric illness.
- I have had knee surgery on the same side before.
- I had a corticosteroid injection in my knee within the last 3 months.
- I regularly use opioids for pain.
