Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults aged 50 to 80 who have mild memory issues related to aging. Participants will take daily spice capsules or a placebo for three months and then continue to be monitored for another three months.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am between 50 and 80 years old.
  • I have mild cognitive impairment or normal aging.
  • I can see and hear well enough for testing.
  • My lab tests show no significant problems.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease or any other type of dementia.
  • I have other neurological or serious health problems that affect my memory.
  • I have Parkinson's disease.
  • I have uncontrolled high blood pressure.
  • I regularly eat more than 5 grams of spices a day.
  • I have a history of allergy or sensitivity to spices.
  • I have a current major psychiatric disorder.
  • I have a current diagnosis of alcoholism or substance addiction.
