Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Histologically confirmed inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis or Crohn\'s disease)
* Age ≥ 18 years
Exclusion Criteria:
* Post (procto-) colectomy
* Endoscopically impassable stenosis in the left hemi-colon
* ASA status \> 2 points
