Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for young male soccer players aged 14 to 18 who have not been injured in the last three months. Participants will take part in a program involving specific muscle massages twice a week to help reduce the risk of injuries and improve their performance.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am a male athlete aged between 14 and 18 years
  • I play soccer at the youth or junior level
  • I am registered with my football association
  • I have not had any injuries in the past 3 months

You may not be able to join if

  • I did not pass my pre-season medical examination
  • I have had surgery or lower limb fractures in the past 5 years
  • I am currently undergoing physiotherapy rehabilitation
  • I am participating in another injury prevention program or specific training

About This Trial
The aim of the study is to evaluate the effect of myofascial self-release on muscle mechanical properties, performance, neuromuscular function, and injury risk reduction in young soccer players.
