Who this trial is looking for
This trial is looking for adults with dissociative disorders to test a new type of therapy called Dissociation-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Participants will need to be able to attend therapy sessions and give their consent to join.
Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old
- I am a member of a social security scheme
- I have been diagnosed with a dissociative disorder
- I can attend psychotherapy sessions
- If I take psychiatric medication, it has been stable for at least 30 days
You may not be able to join if
- I have a current substance use disorder (other than tobacco)
- I have a neurodevelopmental disorder
- I have anorexia nervosa
- I have severe depressive disorder
- I have a diagnosis in the schizophrenia spectrum
- I have bipolar disorder
- I have a personality disorder other than borderline personality disorder
- I am currently undergoing psychotherapy

About This Trial
Dissociative symptoms and disorders are particularly prevalent in the general population and among people suffering from psychiatric disorders. To date, no treatment has proven effective for this type of problem. Exploratory studies (without control group) have been carried out. * ≥ 18 years
* Membership of a social security scheme
* Participant's express consent
* Have at least one diagnosis of dissociative disorder among the following:
depersonalization/derealization disorder, dissociative identity disorder, unspecified dissociative disorder.
