This trial is looking for adults with chronic hepatitis B who have been treated with specific therapies before. Participants will receive a new treatment with PEG-IFN for 24 weeks, with follow-up monitoring to see how well it works.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I have chronic hepatitis B infection.
- I have taken part in prior therapies for hepatitis B.
- I have seen a significant decrease in HBsAg levels from my previous therapy.
- I stopped my previous hepatitis treatment before this trial.
- My HBsAg level is between 1-500 IU/mL.
- I have not had interferon therapy in the last 6 months.
- I agree to use contraception during the study.
You may not be able to join if
- I have advanced liver disease or liver cancer.
- I have high AFP levels or liver cancer.
- I am infected with other types of hepatitis viruses or HIV.
- I have taken certain immune therapies within the last 6 months.
- I am pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant.
- I have autoimmune hepatitis or other serious autoimmune diseases.
- I have uncontrolled heart disease or other significant health issues.
- I have a history of severe mental health disorders.
