This trial is looking for adults with chronic kidney disease stages 3 to 5. Participants will receive a treatment called transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation to help with their condition.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old.
- I have been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease stage 3 to 5.
- I am receiving care at NYU Nephrology outpatient practice.
- I can provide informed consent.
You may not be able to join if
- I have a primary autonomic nervous system disorder like Parkinson's disease.
- I have arrhythmias.
- I have a pacemaker or defibrillator.
- I am on maintenance dialysis.
- I have epilepsy.
- I have symptomatic bradycardia.
- I am unable to consent.
- I am pregnant.
