This trial is looking for older adults with Alzheimer’s Disease or related dementias who have hearing loss. Participants will receive a special hearing care program to help with communication and related symptoms.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 60 and 100 years old
- I speak English
- I have been diagnosed with probable Alzheimer's Disease or related dementia
- I have hearing loss in my better hearing ear
- I have a caregiver who can assist me
- I have been on stable medication for my symptoms for at least 2 weeks
You may not be able to join if
- I currently use a hearing aid or amplification device
- I have a medical reason that prevents me from using hearing aids
- I cannot participate in a follow-up after 1 month
