Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with schizophrenia to test a new treatment. Participants will take a medication for two weeks, followed by randomly receiving either the medication or a placebo for another two weeks.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am between 18 and 65 years old.
  • I have been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
  • I have been on a stable dose of antipsychotic medication for 1 month.
  • I have not had a relapse in the last 2 months.
  • I have a score of at least 60 on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale.
  • I can provide informed consent.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a significant medical or neurological disorder.
  • I am currently taking medications that interact with Diroximel Fumarate.
  • I am pregnant or not using effective contraception.
  • I am breastfeeding.
  • I have severe liver or moderate kidney impairment.
  • I have a history of substance dependence other than cigarettes.
  • I currently have a high risk of suicide.
  • I cannot undergo an MRI scan due to health reasons.
