This trial is looking for patients scheduled for robotic surgery in the lower pelvic area. Participants will be compared based on two types of pads used during surgery to see their effects on pain and pressure injuries.
You may be able to join if
- I am at least 18 years old
- I am scheduled for robotic surgery in the lower pelvic region
- I will be in a steep Trendelenburg position during surgery
You may not be able to join if
- I have existing pressure injuries
- I have communication barriers
- I have skin problems that affect skin assessment
- I need to switch to open surgery during the procedure
- My position will be changed during surgery
