This trial is looking for adults with unstable patellar fractures. Participants will compare two surgical methods to find out which is more effective and safe for treatment.
You may be able to join if
- I am 18 years or older
- I have a displaced, unstable fracture with more than 2mm of movement
- I have a closed injury
- I can give consent
You may not be able to join if
- I have had previous knee surgery
- I have multiple injuries (poly trauma)
- I have ongoing cancer
- I have severe knee arthritis
- I have had a stroke
- I have other serious nerve issues in my legs
- I am not fit for surgery
- I am unable to walk or follow instructions
