About This Trial
The combination of preoperative pelvic RT - either long-course chemoradiotherapy (LCCRT) or short-course radiotherapy (SCRT)- followed by surgery has been the standard of care in the curative treatment of locally advanced adenocarcinoma of the rectum for decades.
