This trial is looking for adults who feel tired after sleep to see if brain stimulation during naps helps. Participants will attend two study visits lasting a few hours where they will wear an EEG cap and take naps.

You may be able to join if

  • I am between 18 and 75 years old.
  • I feel that my sleep is not restorative.
  • I speak English well enough to answer questions.
  • I can take naps during the day.
  • I am a US citizen.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a current or past neurological disorder.
  • I have been hospitalized for mental health issues.
  • I have had serious head trauma or multiple concussions.
  • I have poorly controlled headaches or migraines.
  • I have a condition that could cause a medical emergency.
  • I have a history of seizures or epilepsy.
  • I might be pregnant or plan to become pregnant soon.
  • I have any metal in my head or have a medical implant.

About This Trial
The goal of this clinical trial is to find out whether stimulating the brain with electrical current during naps can increase certain kinds of brain activity that happen during sleep and lead to improvements in mental fatigue.
