This trial is looking for adults aged 40 and older with type 2 diabetes. Participants will help evaluate how heart imaging and genetic risk scores can affect heart health.
You may be able to join if
- I am 40 years or older
- I have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- I have acceptable imaging quality as determined by the study team
- I am able to have a genetic risk score calculated
You may not be able to join if
- I cannot provide written consent
- I am not willing to be followed for evaluations
- I have active heart disease
- I have significant coronary disease that safety concerns
- I cannot complete the required assessments as judged by the study team
