Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Age from 18 to 70 years old.
* Both sexes.
* Septic patients (under the third international consensus definitions of sepsis and septic shock).
Exclusion Criteria:
* Pregnancy
* Malignancy
* On immunosuppressive therapy
* Hematological Disorders
* Major Trauma
* Major Burns
