This trial is looking for men and women aged 40 to 99 who have Parkinson's disease or REM Sleep Behavior Disorder. Participants will provide tissue samples during a routine colonoscopy to check for a protein related to these conditions.

- I am between 40 and 99 years old.
- I have been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
- I have been diagnosed with REM Sleep Behavior Disorder but not Parkinson's disease.
- I have agreed to have a routine colonoscopy.
You may not be able to join if
- I take anticoagulants, except Plavix or aspirin alone.
- I am currently being treated for colon cancer.
- I have an ongoing gastrointestinal illness.
- I have had recent abdominal surgery.
- I am pregnant or planning to become pregnant soon.
- I have significant cognitive impairment.

Inclusion Criteria:
1. Relatively healthy men and women ≥40-99 years of age
2. Patients with a diagnosis of
1. Clinically confirmed PD or
2. Clinically confirmed RBD with no diagnosis of PD, DLB or MSA
