This trial is looking for healthcare professionals who want to improve their mental well-being through breathing exercises. Participants will help assess the effects of these exercises on feelings of stress, anxiety, and sleep quality.
You may be able to join if
- I work as a healthcare professional at one of the four MCHS sites.
- I have a burnout score of 40 or higher on the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory.
- I am physically fit enough to do light exercise.
- I can read and understand English well enough to follow instructions.
- I have access to a smartphone or tablet.
You may not be able to join if
- I have had an active primary psychotic disorder or substance use disorder in the past year.
- I have a severe or unstable medical condition that could interfere with the study.
- I have an active neurological condition that affects my cognitive functioning.
- I have chronic lung disease or an aneurysm.
- I am currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant during the study.
