This trial is looking for patients with atrial fibrillation who are scheduled for their first catheter ablation. Participants will compare a prehabilitation program with usual care to see how it affects their heart and lung function after the procedure.
You may be able to join if
- I am between 18 and 70 years old.
- I am scheduled for my first atrial fibrillation ablation.
- I have a New York Heart Association class I or II.
- My left ventricular ejection fraction is 50% or more.
You may not be able to join if
- I have significant heart disease, like severe valve issues.
- I cannot do exercise tests or training.
- I have cognitive impairment that prevents me from cooperating.
