This trial is looking for adults with obesity to test an injection called ABBV-295. Participants will receive either the study treatment or a placebo and will be monitored for any side effects and changes in weight.
You may be able to join if
- I have a BMI between 30 and 45
- I may have weight-related health issues like high blood pressure or sleep apnea
- I am a female who is not pregnant or breastfeeding
- I am not planning to get pregnant or donate eggs during the study or for 60 days after
You may not be able to join if
- I have gained or lost more than 5% of my body weight in the last 3 months
- My HbA1c level is 6.5% or higher
- My serum glucose level is 126 mg/dL or higher
- I have taken medication to treat obesity in the last 180 days
- I have been in another obesity trial in the last 180 days
