Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria:
* Mechanically ventilated surgical intensive care patients with trauma- or postoperative-associated moderate to severe ARDS, as defined by the 2023 Global Definition of ARDS.

* Age \<18 or \>90 years.
