Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults who are overweight or have obesity but do not have type 2 diabetes. Participants will take eloralintide for a main phase lasting about 75 weeks, with an option to continue for another 2 years if they have prediabetes.

You may be able to join if

  • I have a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 30 or higher
  • I have a BMI of 27 or higher with related health issues
  • I have had a stable body weight for the last 90 days
  • I have tried to lose weight through diet before

You may not be able to join if

  • I have had surgery for obesity in the past year
  • I have type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes
  • I have had a heart attack in the past 90 days
  • I have had a stroke in the past 90 days
  • I have taken weight loss medications in the past 90 days

About This Trial

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of eloralintide in adults with obesity or overweight who do not have type 2 diabetes. The study has two phases: a main phase and an extension phase. Participation in the main phase of the study will last about 75 weeks. Participants with prediabetes will continue in the extension phase for another 2 years.
