Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults who will undergo jaw surgery to correct their bite. Participants will have check-ups on their gums and bone measurements before and after the surgery over a period of 6 months.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am at least 18 years old.
  • I have a Class II or Class III molar relationship.
  • I have full permanent teeth up to my first molars.
  • I have no history of orthodontic treatment.
  • I have no systemic diseases that affect my gum health.
  • I show no signs of gum disease or overgrowth.
  • I have not had teeth removed except for second or third molars.
  • I have records of my gum health available for assessment.

You may not be able to join if

  • I am under 18 years old.
  • I am pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • I have had previous jaw surgery.
  • I have dental implants.
  • I have psychiatric disorders.
  • I have a condition that prevents me from having jaw surgery.
  • I refuse to sign the consent form.
  • I have had interproximal enamel reduction.
