About This Trial
Laparoscopic colorectal surgery is associated with an increased risk of intraoperative atelectasis due to pneumoperitoneum, Trendelenburg positioning, and prolonged anesthesia duration. Atelectasis developing during surgery may persist into the postoperative period and contribute to postoperative pulmonary complications.
