This trial is looking for people who have had a stroke recently and have hand function issues. Participants will test a device called the Portable Rehabilitation Interface against normal hand therapy to see which helps more.
You may be able to join if
- I have had a stroke within the last 2 months.
- I have muscle strength of 0-3 out of 5.
- I have paralysis or problems moving my fingers.
- I can comfortably fit my hand into the device.
You may not be able to join if
- I had my stroke less than 2 days ago.
- I had my stroke more than 2 months ago.
- I have muscle strength of 4-5 out of 5.
- I am part of a vulnerable population.
- I cannot stretch my fingers and wrist to neutral position.
