Inclusion Criteria:
* Age ≥ 40 years old;
* Patients with symptomatic moderate to severe stenosis of the internal carotid artery;
* History of ipsilateral cerebral ischemic symptoms within the past 180 days;
* Planned for carotid artery stent;
* Essen Score ≥ 3;
