Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for patients who will have surgery for cancer and may lose some blood. Participants will have their blood cells tested to understand how X-ray treatment affects them during the surgery.

Are You a Good Fit for This Trial?

You may be able to join if

  • I am scheduled for elective surgery for a malignant tumor.
  • I am between 18 and 65 years old.
  • I expect to lose 500 milliliters or more of blood during surgery.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have a disorder affecting red blood cell production.
  • I have a disease that causes increased destruction of red blood cells.

About This Trial
This study aims to investigate the effects of linear accelerator X-ray irradiation on the structure, mechanics and functional characteristics of red blood cells recovered from patients with malignant tumors during surgery. A red blood cell damage evaluation system based on multiple-dimensional indicators is established. Through atomic force microscopy, microfluidic chips and biochemical detection …
