Who this trial is looking for

This trial is looking for adults with prediabetes who are overweight or obese. Participants will follow a program that includes advice on sleep and meal timing to see if it helps improve their health.

You may be able to join if

  • I am 18 years old or older
  • I have been diagnosed with prediabetes within the last year
  • My BMI is 25 or higher (23 or higher if I am Asian American)

You may not be able to join if

  • I am under 18 years old
  • My BMI is less than 25 (less than 23 if I am Asian American)
  • I do not have a current diagnosis of prediabetes
  • I have been diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes
  • I am pregnant at the time of enrollment
  • I have a medical condition that could get worse with study interventions

About This Trial

This nested pilot Randomized Clinical Trial will determine whether the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) enhanced with evidence-based sleep health and time restricted eating interventions ("DPP++") is more effective than the DPP alone for improving metabolic and cardiovascular metrics in 40 overweight/obese adults with prediabetes.
