This trial is looking for adults with a specific bowel issue called dyssynergic defecation. Participants will use game-based therapy that helps improve bowel function and may enhance sleep quality and overall quality of life.
You may be able to join if
- I have been diagnosed with dyssynergic defecation.
- I am between 18 and 70 years old.
- I have been suffering from chronic constipation for at least six months.
- My stool is hard, based on the Bristol Stool Scale.
You may not be able to join if
- I have communication barriers that affect my participation.
- I have cognitive impairment.
- I am pregnant.
- I have severe depression or anxiety.
- I have untreated metabolic or endocrine disorders.
- I take medications that cause or worsen constipation.
- I have had spinal, rectal, or pelvic surgery.
- I have colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
