You may be able to join if

  • I have been diagnosed with dyssynergic defecation.
  • I am between 18 and 70 years old.
  • I have been suffering from chronic constipation for at least six months.
  • My stool is hard, based on the Bristol Stool Scale.

You may not be able to join if

  • I have communication barriers that affect my participation.
  • I have cognitive impairment.
  • I am pregnant.
  • I have severe depression or anxiety.
  • I have untreated metabolic or endocrine disorders.
  • I take medications that cause or worsen constipation.
  • I have had spinal, rectal, or pelvic surgery.
  • I have colorectal cancer or inflammatory bowel disease.
